Air-conditioning, ceiling fans, DVD players and large king-size or twin beds offer a heavenly retreat after a full day's safari. Each suite has a private patio that overlooks the pristien Eastern Cape bushveld. Interleading doors are ideal for families.

Directions: From Port Elizabeth airport (45 minutes): Follow the N2 towards Grahamstown Take the "Motherwell / Addo Elephant National Park" turn off onto the R335. Continue for approx 55kms, turn left onto Zuurburg Pass. Follow the untarred road for 3.5kms, right at the River Bend Gate.

Dining: The cuisine at River Bend is a gastronomic affair, with head chef Christopher Whitham preparing each day's menu with utmost passion and flair. Full breakfasts with home-baked pastries and a la carte hot meals are served. Enjoy a light lunch menu either on the wide veranda overloooking the watering hole, or around the poolside. Dinners are an elegant affair with 6 - 7 courses served, each with a recommended wine from the award winning list of South African wines.
 

Extras: Soak up pampering treatments in the Vitality Health Studio. The resident beautician will ease away your aches and pains with wonderful massage techniques, fabulous facials, manicures and pedicures. All treatments are done using world-renown Dermalogica products. For the younger guests, a playroom filled with toys, games, books and DVD's is at their dispense to enjoy ours of fun. Families are allocated their own private game vehicle and guide - subject to availability. Inter-leading suites make an ideal family unit.

Cancelation Policy:

A single supplement of 30% applies for single rates

Deposits: To secure a reservation, a 50% deposit of the total accommodation tariff, must be received. Once the deposit is received the reservation will be confirmed by mail. Single Tariffs: A single supplement is applicable as noted. Tariffs are subject to change without notice. Tariffs, on confirmed reservations for which a deposit has been received, will be held.

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS: Insurance: To avoid any misunderstanding, a booking constitutes a binding contract. All guests confirming a booking are advised to take out insurance to cover the full cost of their accommodation in the event of a cancellation. We will seek compensation for any cancelled accommodation that cannot be rebooked, including premature curtailment of stay.

Late check-ins to be arranged prior to arrival.

Accommodation will automatically be cancelled if the deposit is not received by the due date. Deposits are not refundable in the event of a cancellation, or ‘non arrival’. No persons other than those quoted for, are permitted to share the accommodation.

From 7 to 14 days, forfeit 75% of the booking
From 14 to 21 days, forfeit 50% of the booking
From 21 to 30 days, forfeit 25% of the boooking
